WELCOME HOME

YT Open Space Club provides a central but hidden theatre space for people to reach. The purpose of the club is to bring people closer together, and to create a safe space for self-definition. The club is free from all kind of discrimination and strives to break down the structures that maintain privileges, prejudices and other forms of oppression.

The performances at the club can be anything from poems, spoken word, rap, animation, performance art, dance, installations, sound, music to anything in between. The aim is to provide a safe and easy place for artists to experiment with new things and ideas. For other participants the evening is a relaxed and open event where you can meet new people and get to see new and interesting art.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION:

The address of the accessible entrance is Mannerheimintie 3B. The front door is not automatic and there is a small threshold (3cm). There is a lift and Ylioppilasteatteri is located on the 4th floor. Please call us in case you need assistance at the entrance or the studio door. The number is 045 348 1555.

The space has unisex bathrooms. There is a threshold at the door and the stalls are 56cm at the narrowest.
